They are pretty dim, but I'm pretty damn sure you can crack it open and mod the lights inside with no problem and you're not spending too much. for the lights, I was thinking about using those cheap $1 lights that your press, and it turns on, press again, and it's off.

The cheapest way to go about this is the hamster ball though. I'm using wonderflex for my Taokaka and Arakune masks, and I've seen others use it.it's amazing, and totally worth the money if you know what you're doing. There was a link posted earlier with wonderflex available, and there's also really helpful tutorials on the side bar for molding it. Some of the links and tips posted here are super helpful, and I would suggest using a bit from each.ĭON'T use styrofoam or paper mache unless you reinforce it with a plastic resin like wonderflex, otherwise you should expect it to be fragile.Gesso, plaster, sand paper, and buffering machines are your friends when it comes to this. Unfortunately, it's being pushed off for other costumes.but maybe summer next year.
